Support Groups

This will be a virtual 6-week, closed group. This is an interactive group to discuss issues and topics that come up that might be specific to donor conception. We will work on formatting a story and discuss ways to integrate this at home. The group will be structured with educational information, such as, the cognitive development of donor-conceived children and what they can understand at different ages/stages; what we know about the impact of disclosure on the child and family; talking to family and friends; donor-linked peer considerations; and creating a “family origin story.” There will also be opportunity to share personal stories and experiences.

Who: Parenting a child conceived with the help of donor conception; children of any age; and located in DC, MD, VA or PA
