RESOLVE: The National Infertility and Family Building Association Launches Inaugural Month of Action, May 2026
New month-long initiative mobilizes the infertility and family-building community to advocate, educate, and drive policy change
RESOLVE: The National Infertility and Family Building Association will launch its first-ever Month of Action in May 2026, bringing together advocates, patients, and partners nationwide to advance family-building awareness and policy reform.
RESOLVE, in alliance with the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), is leading 31 days of programming designed to educate, empower, and activate advocates at every level. This inaugural effort is designed to expand the advocacy movement, helping experienced advocates deepen their leadership while welcoming new voices and ensuring lawmakers hear directly from those impacted. Throughout the month, RESOLVE and the broader infertility and family-building advocacy community will learn, build connections, and take action to challenge the status quo around family building issues. The theme for the inaugural Month of Action is “The Power of We.”
“This first Month of Action marks an important step forward for the infertility and family-building community,” said Danielle Melfi, CEO of RESOLVE. “We are creating space for people to learn, connect, and take meaningful action. When individuals come together and share their stories, it builds momentum for real, lasting change.”
Individuals and families facing infertility continue to face significant barriers when trying to build their families. Access to care continues to fall short, costs remain high, insurance coverage remains scattershot, all while anti-family legislation is on the rise each year across several states. Although many feel powerless to influence change, RESOLVE emphasizes that collective advocacy can and does make a difference. Together, voices can be amplified. Together, change is possible.
Throughout May, RESOLVE will host a series of virtual events focused on advocacy, storytelling, and community building, including:
- May 4 (8–9 PM ET): Webinar: Family Building Advocacy 101: “Step into Your Power”
- May 7 (8–9 PM ET): Webinar: How to Share Your Story to Reach Others
- May 18 (8–9 PM ET): Webinar: Stronger Together: “Men for Access to Care”
- May 20 (6:00 pm ET): RESOLVE’s Phone Bank
- May 26 (8–9 PM ET): Webinar: Lived Experiences: Meet the Community Fighting for Families
- May 28 (8–9 PM ET): Happy Hour: Month of Action Wrap Up
Participants are encouraged to RSVP and engage in the full month of programming to maximize their impact and connection within the community.
The Month of Action builds on RESOLVE’s ongoing mission to break stigma, increase access to care, and ensure that anyone trying to build a family has the support and resources they need.
