Scott M. Slayden, MD joined RBA in January 2001. He is board-certified in OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Slayden is a member of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and the Georgia OB/GYN Society. Dr. Slayden has over 20 years of experience in the infertility field and 10 years prior experience providing obstetrical care and delivering babies.He obtained a B.S. in Biology from Vanderbilt University in 1985. Dr. Slayden obtained his M.D. in 1990 from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1994, He completed his OB/GYN residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Afterwards, Dr. Slayden completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During this time he received extensive experience with in vitro fertilization (IVF), ovulation induction, infertility surgery, and treatment of female endocrine disorders – including PCOS.
