Before specializing in infertility, Dr. Gupta developed expertise in cognitive behavior therapy to treat anxiety and eating issues. This approach to therapy is short-term, focuses on teaching specific skills, and based on recent research. She applies this style to help with the unique challenges of infertility.

Dr. Gupta was a former full-time professor at Barnard College, Columbia University. Prior to that, she trained at Weill Cornell’s Cognitive Therapy Clinic and completed her PhD at Columbia University.
