Bette Galen, LCSW
Bette Galen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, working in the field of women’s reproductive health for 15 years. She is experienced working with individuals and couples experiencing the emotional, and relational difficulties that come to light when faced with infertility, pregnancy loss/grief, third party reproduction decisions and disclosure issues. Bette also counsels individuals who have been negatively effected by trauma, those experiencing life transitions, or difficulties with self esteem, anger, anxiety, or depression.Due to relocation from New Jersey to Florida, she has recently resigned from her social work position of 11 years at the Integrated Health and Wellness department of Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey. Her private practice will be opening in August/September. Bette has facilitated a monthly general infertility support group for the past 4 years in New Jersey and will start a group in Florida in September. Bette is a member of the Mental Health Professional Group of ASRM, NASW, and is a certified Internal Family Systems therapist.
