Powerful Stories of Infertility Shared During New Awareness Event

RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association hosts United for RESOLVE with guest emcee, actress and advocate, Kellée Stewart.

(April 19, 2021, McLean, VA) – RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association understands the power that someone’s personal story can have on changing policies and laws that impact someone’s ability to build a family. RESOLVE is excited to bring a unique event to anyone struggling to build a family during National Infertility Awareness Week®.

As National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW) kicks off, RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association is hosting United for RESOLVE, a free virtual event where real people will share real stories about experiencing infertility and facing barriers to building their families.

Throughout NIAW, the family building community will raise their voices and talk about the issues facing people struggling to build their families. RESOLVE will start the conservation and offer the community storytelling strategies they can use during the United for RESOLVE Virtual Event. Actress and “Egg-vocate,” Kellée Stewart will explore how to talk about the issues facing the community with storytelling expert and Senior Peloton instructor, Christine D’Ercole. Advocates who are raising awareness in unique ways will also share their stories.

One in eight U.S. couples of childbearing age has trouble conceiving or carrying a pregnancy to term. RESOLVE addresses this public health issue by providing community to these women and men, connecting them with others who can help, empowering them to find resolution and giving voice to their demands for access to all family building options.
