Veterans Infertility Treatment Act of 2021, HR 1957
The bill will make infertility care, including Assisted Reproductive Technology (including IVF), part of medical services provided by the VA to any veteran and/or partner (if applicable) who needs infertility care to achieve a pregnancy. The bill will allow IVF for up to three successful pregnancies or six attempted cycles. The bill also allows the use of donated gametes and embryos, and covers IVF costs on a gestational carrier.
