Central Time Zone Virtual General Infertility Peer-led Support Group
Jul 15 @ 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm

These are virtual peer-led support groups hosted by RESOLVE volunteers and open to anyone struggling to build a family or facing infertility, regardless of location. While many of our in-person support groups are now meeting virtually, not all groups are, so RESOLVE is offering a virtual support group option, led by experienced support group hosts, in different time zones.

The meetings will be held via Zoom with breakout rooms for 15 people per meeting, allowing up to 75 registrants per evening; registration will close the evening before the meeting date or when maximum capacity is reached, whichever comes first.

VA: Fairfax Decision Cross Roads Support Group @ Contact the host for virtual meeting information.
Jul 16 @ 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

This group is for women only who are currently undergoing IVF and treatments are not working or leading to a successful pregnancy. Many of our members are trying to determine if they should continue treatments, live child free, or explore other options to building a family. They may be considering donor egg or embryo, adoption, the use of a gestational carrier, and do not know which direction they should be taking next. This monthly group provides a relaxed and confidential setting to meet others on this journey and also talk through some of these decisions. Please contact Alison prior to attending your first meeting.

Kitchen Table Conversations: Family Building and Access to Care for the LGBTQ+ Community
Jul 23 @ 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
Kitchen Table Conversations: Family Building and Access to Care for the LGBTQ+ Community

Host: Tracie Sullivan, Grassroots Outreach Manager, RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association

Speakers:
Shelbi Day, Co-Director State Poilcy and Senior Policy Counsel, Family Equality
Julie Kruse, Director of Federal Policy, Family Equality
Amanda Rush, Senior Manager, Coverage at Work, RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association

Join RESOLVE and our advocacy partner Family Equality for an important conversation around federal and state legislation that impacts access to family building options and how you can get involved. We’ll also be joined by RESOLVE’s Coverage at Work program manager to discuss ways to talk to your employer about family building benefits that matter to you. We plan to provide opportunities to answer your questions and give practical tips to help you advocate for yourself.

RESOLVE’s Kitchen Table Conversation is a new series, hosted by RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, which brings back the nostalgia of our founding, around Barbara Eck’s kitchen table.  Ms. Eck founded the first RESOLVE support group in 1974 where she brought women together to discuss issues that mattered to them.  We are proud to carry on this tradition through our nationwide network of support groups and through this new web series where we tackle topics important to anyone who is challenged in building a family.
