The Adoption Support Groups offer support to individuals and couples who have an interest in, or are in the process of adopting. Whether you are currently thinking about adopting or are in the waiting process, this group offers you the opportunity to connect with others in various stages of the adoption journey. This group will provide general information, address questions and concerns about adoption, and explore the emotional implications of adoption. Cristal and her husband, Dwayne, adopted both of their daughters as infants from Guatemala in November 2003 and February 2005.
RESOLVE Peer-led Support Groups are informal opportunities for women and men who are adopting to connect with one another, to discuss their situations and to receive support from others who have had similar experiences or who are struggling with similar issues. Group moderators are volunteers and are not mental health professionals. Attendance is free. Please contact the group host before attending your first meeting.
