Access to Family Building Act Announcement

RESOLVE applauds Senator Duckworth (IL) and Congresswoman Wild (PA-07) on the introduction of the Access to Family Building Act

Legislation aims at keeping family building medical treatments, like IVF, legal and available

RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association is pleased to announce the introduction of the Access to Family Building Act by Senator Duckworth and Congresswoman Wild. Due to the direct threats to IVF in state legislatures, this federal bill will keep IVF legal and protect the healthcare providers that treat the patients. The introduction of the Access to Family Building Act comes as state legislators are returning to state houses and moving on legislation. Each year RESOLVE supports our advocates who are fighting anti-family state legislation which would take away their access to IVF.

RESOLVE believes you deserve peace of mind knowing that the medical care you need to build your family is legal and available regardless of where you live.

RESOLVE played a critical role in helping to advance the Access to Family Building Act. We’ve worked alongside Senator Duckworth on many issues impacting our community, and she and her staff know the value of our stories and the impact our advocates can make. That’s why we urge our community to register for Federal Advocacy Day on May 14th when will have the opportunity to meet with Members of Congress and talk about how important the Access to Family Building Act is for all who struggle to build a family,” said Barbara Collura, RESOLVE’s President and CEO.

RESOLVE is proud to partner with the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) on Advocacy Day. It’s important that we work with healthcare providers on protecting and expanding access to all family building options.
