(March 7, 2018, McLean, VA) “RESOLVE opposes Arizona Senate Bill 1393. When seeking medical care for infertility, patients are advised on their course of treatment and must make many decisions that impact their care. These decisions are personal, private, and may be difficult for some. If SB 1393 were to pass, this would be a gross overreach of the Arizona state government into private medical decisions. State legislatures should be solving problems; this bill is not a solution and would instead create more problems for patients who need medical help to have a baby. We urge the state legislature to vote down this bill.”
