RESOLVE Celebrates 50 Years of Service

With her own infertility journey and her career as a nurse as her guide, Barbara Eck started the first RESOLVE support group at her kitchen table in her home in Massachusetts. She was the first to organize women experiencing infertility and offer support. Just a year later, in 1974, RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association became an incorporated non-profit organization.

RESOLVE existed before the first IVF cycle ever happened. The need for our mission was there even before that medical treatment existed.

Since 1974 RESOLVE continues to be largest community for people who care about issues related to building a family, want to see change happen, and who need support during the difficult times. While the organization has seen many changes to the way we deliver our services, we are facing one of the biggest challenges and quite frankly, biggest opportunity ever.

Since the Dobbs decision was overturned February 2024, access to and protection for IVF has become a national discussion, all the way to the Presidential race. RESOLVE knows what’s at stake, which is why we created the Fight for Families Campaign.

We need $1 million to seed our Legislative and PR capacity in affected states and ensure Congress takes action to protect IVF and make it more accessible to the 1 in 6 people who will face infertility.

YOU are part of our future. Thank you
